About Taylor Mason
For Taylor Mason, a Comedian, Ventriloquist, Musician and all around incredible talent, we had been managing his website and online presence for more than 10 years. When we opened shop at Slightly Mad we applied our strategic approach to the Taylor Mason brand and came up with a new positioning: "Good Clean Fun". We then set out to develop a new brand ID to follow the new positioning. We collaborated with Taylor, explored areas that were first and foremost strategic, and secondarily to his personal graphic taste. In line with Taylor's positioning we landed on a 1950's Rock and Roll retro theme. This really resonated with Taylor and his fans because it truly embodied what his multi platform entertainment brand is all about. We went on to design the new brand identity, website and marketing materials, Twitter, Myspace and Facebook pages, web banners a blog, and quite a few email marketing pieces as well as print ads, direct mail, PR and mobile campaigns - all part of a comprehensive promotional strategy. Now 5 years later we have revisited the brand ID and are revising the website, twitter, etc... to reflect a new, slightly edgy aspect that he has been developing in his act.
